With a proven track record in launching successful ventures,
Tilan leads strategic initiatives such as flagship office openings,
digital transformation, recruitment campaigns, and
multi-channel marketing strategies. His deep understanding of
international education markets enables him to identify
high-impact partnerships with institutions and referral networks.

Dr. Terence De Silva
Director, Global Healthcare,
Integration and System Development
Dr. Terence De Silva is a seasoned medical leader with 25+
years of clinical and administrative experience across New
Zealand and the UK. He currently serves as a Senior Medical
Officer in Emergency Medicine at Thames Hospital, and has
held leadership roles including Medical Director of Hawkes Bay
Wellness Centre and Doctor2Go Telehealth. As Director of
Global Healthcare Integration and System Development at
GWEC, he connects international medical professionals with
healthcare systems, ensuring high clinical standards, cultural
safety, and smooth transitions through strategic recruitment
and mentorship
Dr. Senitha Liyanage
Director, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
Dr. Senitha Liyanage is a Consultant Emergency Physician with over
15 years of experience in emergency medicine, critical care, and
disaster management. He serves at Colombo South Teaching
Hospital and has worked at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and
The Canberra Hospital, Australia. As Director of Talent Acquisition
and Workforce Planning at GWEC, he leads healthcare recruitment,
workforce development, and international compliance. He has
advised UNICEF and helped develop Sri Lankaʼs National Oxygen
Guidelines. As President of the Sri Lanka College of Emergency
Medicine and a global educator, he champions ethical recruitment,
talent development, and seamless integration of clinicians into
global healthcare systems

Head Of Operations, Maldives
Mariyam Athfa Abdulla leads GWEC’s student recruitment operations in the Maldives, advancing the organisation’s mission in the region. With a background in banking, hospitality, and community engagement, she brings a strategic, people-first approach to student services.
Athoo oversees recruitment, partnership development, and cross-border coordination, ensuring alignment with GWEC’s global standards. Her understanding of local education dynamics and global perspective enables her to deliver tailored solutions for students, families, and partners.
